It was our first pit-stop. Awaiting us was a 3-4 hour journey, we needed to refuel in order to proceed smoothly. It was our very first meal of the day and it was also our first meal upon entering Malaysia. Everyone, say hello to Ba Kut Teh.

There are several other Ba Kut Teh stalls situated along this stretch of road. However, as the morning was still young, all but one was opened and ready for business.

The soup wasn’t peppery enough for my liking. The meat was rather tough and my attempt at trying to tug the flesh away from the bone resulted in soup being spilled onto the table. But i must admit that i truly enjoyed their big fluffy you char kways. If i wasn’t calorie conscious, i would have easily requested for another serving.
